ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB NEWS

The environmental club received a grant from Tree Canada and Fed Ex to plant trees provided by Jaspersons for an outdoor garden. Many staff and students have helped over the past two weeks to plant trees and begin creating the outdoor classroom. With the continued support of the staff, students, and community we hope to make this outdoor classroom a beautiful place for staff and students to enjoy and learn about the importance of preserving our environment. On Monday September 19, 2011at 4:00 pm we will have an official School Ground Greening Event with representatives from Tree Canada, Fed Ex, the Interlake School Division, Stonewall Collegiate and local media. Come out and support our efforts to make Stonewall Collegiate a green school!
