American Sign Language – Level 101
This introductory course is designed especially for beginners who want
to communicate on a basic level with people who are deaf/hard of
hearing. Class topics include: basic ASL vocabulary, alphabet, spelling
and number production, time concepts, daily activities, direction, your
family and where you live and school.
Instructor: David Burke. Participants can purchase the textbook, Signing
Naturally which covers ASL 101,102 and 103. Comes with a DVD and is
approx. $80.00 (available at Red River College Bookstore)

Converse in French by learning thematic vocabulary, basic dialogues and
by viewing comical video skits. This course is also ideal for those who
have children in the French Immersion program or for school staff !
