Helps prepare children between the ages of 8 through 13 years-of-age for being home alone. Interactive lessons and role play to help make your child more confident. Learn how to perform a variety of life saving techniques and how to deal with a variety of emergency situations. Certificates will be handed out along with grab bags. Win a prize as well.

International Shotokan Karate Foundation (ISKF) is a non-contact beginner level of martial arts developed with your mental and physical well-being in mind. All ages are welcome. This program is super for parents and kids to train together, or as an individual. Students will develop character, co-ordination, self-respect and control while learning the art of Karate. Get your shorts/sweats /t-shirt on and come “Kick it with us”. This is for you !!

This class is designed for girls 11-14 years old who like listening to music and dancing with their friends. This class consists of any combination of low bounce aerobics, step, boot camp, Latin dance, yoga, and pilates. The purpose of the class is to present exercise as fun and hopefully begin to form some lifelong habits. Yoga mat and proper clean footwear with non marking soles required.

Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course (ages 11-15 )
In this Babysitting course you will learn to care safely for and get along with babies, toddlers, pre-school and school aged children. The instructor will also touch on household hazards, home alone, rescue breathing, choking techniques, dealing with Emergency Rescue Workers and 911 Operators. Learn to recognize an emergency and how to handle one.
Registration includes a textbook, handouts, wall certificate and laminated wallet certificate. Students are to bring a bagged lunch. Instructor Barbara Roy, MYSTIC First Aid Services.
