ABOUT OUR SCHOOL Stony Mountain School is a K-8 school located in the
town of Stony Mountain, Manitoba. The school is located 11 kilometers north
of the Perimeter Highway off highway 7. The community has approximately 1400
residents and is a fully serviced vibrant and active community. The school
offers a full range of academic opportunities for all students and an active
extra curricular sport program. The school promotes a Safe and Caring
learning environment by developing school wide and classroom respect
agreements. Stony Mountain School operates on a balanced day schedule of
three 100 minute teaching blocks, two nutrition blocks of 20-25 minutes and
two activity periods of 20-30 minutes.
