On Thursday February 25th a group of 9 students and 3 staff from Teulon Collegiate attended the Student-Led Anti-Racism March at the Legislature. S.T.A.R.T : Students Together Against Racism Today

The group was interviewed by CBC Radio/TV and had a conversation with Jon Gerrard and are featured at the top of today’s blog: http://manitobaliberals.blogspot.ca/

In attendance were TCI students: Carlet Sumner, Kieran Haggan, Rayne Caribou, Zen Walker, Emily Taylor, Tanner Wilton, Christine Kilpatrick, Sara Scheschuk, Jessica Kent and staff members: Oksana Kosteckyj (Guidance) Kathy Simcoe (Teacher) and Carolyn Fox (Support).

TEULON COLLEGIATE

Teulon Collegiate has a dedicated staff of teachers and educational assistants working together to provide our students with a quality education and a safe school environment. Teulon Collegiate has a student population of approximately 250 students throughout grades 7 to 12. Our school offers a wide range of academic courses and gives students the opportunity to obtain additional credits through Foods and Nutrition, Industrial Arts, Business, Apprenticeship and Career Technology Studies. We have a full time guidance counselor and Resource Department that serve the needs of all of our students through social and academic counseling. Our school promotes active living and uses the balanced school day model providing additional activity breaks for our students in grades seven and eight.
